MicroSlop Robot Dogs Playing Poker - Black Short-Sleeve T-Shirt

Remember in the 90's when malls were full of brand parody t-shirts? Remember when that was a thing? Chiron remembers!

Is this an artistic exploration of the effects of AI on society? Yes. Is this a commentary on technology and culture in a world inundated with slop? Also... yes. Is this a clear example of a transformative parody that qualifies as fair-use under copyright, patent and trademarks laws? I am not a lawyer but... also yes.

At the end of the day it's just t-shirt. Do you need a t-shirt with robot dogs playing poker? I can only think of one specific scenario in which you would. Other than that... no... you really don't. But how many times have I purchased things I don't need? Literally every... single... time. So if you're like me you'll see this and want it and buy it and forget about it and then get it in the mail and it'll feel like presents from a magical stranger who knows just what you like! Then it'll feel weird... but then you'll remember and realize how good a friend you are to yourself!

Inspired by the rich history of vintage computing and Microsoft branding, I designed another t-shirt. This particular design was hand crafted by me, Chiron Bramberger, using the open-source software GIMP and Inkscape to create the from-scratch floppy disk in the style of vintage Macintosh icons, with the only element that's AI generated is the ridiculous picture on the label.

This design features a vintage 3.5-inch floppy disk with MicroSlop and Slopilot parody logos on the disk label. In the middle is an actual image generated by Copilot. This particular image is of evil robot dogs apparently sent back in time to hang out and play poker.

I especially thought that using AI to recreate Dogs Playing Poker is effectively a meme that's so old it predates the both the term "meme" and "cringey" all at once.

As promised this is the "very best in AI generated slop"! By best I mean the most unexpected and unintended output from a prompt that should never have created this.
